Originally called John Gibson Associates, which was started in our Borehamwood offices in 2006 under the Directorship of Andy Clark, The Recruitment Solution (TRS) is the name that’s bringing a fresh attitude to the recruitment industry.
TRS launched in 2016 to inject a sophisticated, forward-looking approach into professional hiring. Our Directors, Andy Clark and Daniel Walton have built very successful careers within the sector, with a combined 30 years recruitment experience working predominantly within motor trade recruitment but also working within finance recruitment, government and senior management. “We knew there was a better way for the recruitment businesses to work. Technology and social media have changed the world, and the wider recruitment industry, yet most recruiters haven’t kept pace - until now”.
We have a fabulous team, modern offices and facilities with training and meeting rooms, the latest CRM and candidate search software as well as an excellent marketing department. We are well connected, resourceful and more tech-savvy in the way we bring candidates and clients together. We’re better connected in the social space. We’re closer in tune with the changing expectations of manufacturers, public services and the people who work for them.
TRS specialize in the motor trade sector, working with main dealer groups and independent retailers, parts suppliers, manufacturer approved bodyshops as well as working directly with vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. We cover all aspects of the motor trade including Service, Sales, Management, Finance, Bodyshop and Parts.
We want to set the standard for how consultants should operate in our sectors. That means giving informed, credible advice, based on years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the sector. It means being honest and open - treating candidates and clients equally, with the highest levels of respect, integrity, fairness and professionalism. To create value and make a difference.
